The turns of life, que Bella es la vida
Last Thursday, March 23, 2018, I had the opportunity to interview Alejandro Monteverde, who is a Mexican film director from Tampico who is known for being director and writer of films like Little Boy and Bella.
When I got to do a blog about Alejandro Monteverde I did not have much interest because of the little information that I had about him, but when I was able to interact with him in the interview I realized how big this person is and thanks to the interview I could be motivated to write a blog about him.
Something to highlight is his way of seeing life, a film that describes very well how life goes Bella, which was written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde. Monteverde creates two very interesting characters with different perspectives and ambitions. Let's start with Jose who was a professional soccer player but his professional career went to ruin and he ended up working as a chef in his brother's restaurant, he knows Nina and he gets a lot of attention, because Nina is a waitress at the restaurant who she has to work several times, what catches Jose's attention, and Jose finds out that Nina was pregnant and had thought about aborting.
The way Monteverde wraps these characters is simply magical. When Jose meets Nina's problems, he finds a new way of seeing life and makes Jose's problems insignificant in life and realizes that Jose was a lucky person. Nina, who is a person who has suffered many tragedies during her life, always keeps going despite everything, never gives up, and always fights for her, which made Jose realize that he should fight more in life and not give up. As easy as I had done it.
Some things that Monteverde said in the interview have a lot to do with the movie, since he says that failure in life must be enjoyed because it is useful to live it bitter for a failure, only make it worse, what better way to go out of a failure or problem to take it in the best way, and Monteverde reflects it perfectly in Bella.
Life gives you certain barriers or obstacles, but you have to face them, we must not let those failures and problems control us, if I could not achieve a goal then is so sad, we need to go on with a big smile, we need to be more like Nina, that is what life expects from us, that we fight and be grateful, because no matter how big a problem seems, we are fortunate in comparison to millions of people. Que bella es la vida.
