Childhood dream against destiny

Gael García Bernal, innate  Mexican talent. He started his career in film for over 20 years. Some of his famous films are: "Amores Perros" and "Y tu mamá también ". It didn't take a lot of time for him to jump to the international fame. Even with that, he confessed that his desire was always to be a rural pediatrician.

Coming from a family that was completely dedicated to acting, it seems surprising that he felt the call to something completely different. However, despite the struggles against his genes, they won:

"I grew up in a family of actors, I was very involved in the behind-the-scene, in an environment very under, full of searches. At some point I thought it was going to be able to escape that life. I fought all my life not to be an actor, but here I am, it didn't come out."

From the age of 14, he began to project his dream by becoming a teacher in indigenous communities, teaching them to read and also by participating in various activities that included manifestations to protect their rights. The more he felt he was moving away from the middle of the show, the closer he was. I think these experiences helped him find answers and highlight the beauty of everything, which is a very important feature of art.

"I imagined me as a doctor, pediatrician, journalist, soccer player, philosopher. But the performance caught me."

As they say, our destiny is in ourselves, not in our name. We may be fortunate to have been born in a privileged place, but our destiny is influenced by what we do. We can run, we can hide but someday this one will reach us. Now we see Gabriel as a very prominent actor, however, in a few years, we could see him as a great advocate for minority rights or volunteering.

What is certain is that life gives many twists and sometimes those dreams that seem forgotten, can come to life when you least expect it.
